ABOUT TEXAS APOSTILLE SERVICES

Houston Apostille and Document Authentication Specialists

Texas Apostille Services helps individuals, families, schools, attorneys and businesses prepare documents for international use. From our Houston office, we review each request to identify the correct Texas Universal Apostille, out-of-state, federal or additional legalization process before documents are submitted.

Careful Document Review

We check the issuing authority, certification or notarization, destination country and intended use. This early review helps prevent avoidable rejection and delays.

State and Federal Routing

Texas documents generally go through the Texas Secretary of State. Out-of-state records must follow the rules of the issuing state, while FBI and other eligible federal documents follow the U.S. Department of State process.

Local and Mail-In Options

Clients may visit us at 6124 Highway 6 N in Houston or begin with a document review before mailing records. Secure return-shipping options are available.

Documents We Commonly Handle

  • Birth, marriage and death certificates
  • Divorce decrees and other certified court records
  • FBI background checks and eligible federal documents
  • Diplomas, transcripts and academic verification letters
  • Powers of attorney, affidavits and authorization letters
  • Certificates of formation, corporate records and business agreements

Built Around the Correct Process

An apostille is not a one-size-fits-all stamp. Requirements depend on where a document was issued, who signed or certified it and the country where it will be used. The Texas Secretary of State now issues one Universal Apostille certificate: it functions as an apostille for Hague Convention countries and as an authentication for non-Hague countries. A non-Hague destination will likely require U.S. Department of State validation and may require additional embassy or consular legalization. Our role is to help identify and coordinate the appropriate path.

Important: Texas Apostille Services is a private document-assistance business. We are not a government agency or law firm and do not provide legal advice. Processing times depend on document eligibility and the responsible government authority.
